About Me

Early Years

Growing up, I was always that tomboy, who went hunting and fishing with my Dad.  Therefore, I also became Daddy's Little Girl.  However, this experience has allowed me to become a stronger individual.  I liked not being the center of attention throughout all of school; I'd rather sit back and watch how everyone treats others around me and then step in, if I have to.  It has allowed me to see the world from different perspectives and be a better teacher for my students.

Education

I graduated from East Stroudsburg University in 2006.  This is my ninth year working at the Pen Argyl School District.  A few years ago, I attained my Masters in Education from the University of California.

Family

I am the youngest in my family.  I have a brother, Jason, who is a year older than me, and a sister, Jessica, who is two years older than me.  They definitely gave me a "run for my money" while growing up.  I am extremely close with my immediate family, my mother and father included. Most importantly, I think of Pen Argyl as my family as well. Working with everyone all of these years, I definitely have a sense of home.

Most recently, I adopted a 3 month bengal kitten into my home.  His name is Kavin Lestat, and he is by all means my baby.

My most favorite things to do are hunting and fishing. During those seasons, that's all I live for.  In my free time, i enjoy playing with my Kavin kitty, offroading, exploring, camping, geocaching, watching a ball game, and scrapbooking.

One thing I cannot live without is the Walking Dead and, of course, Norman Reedus.
